In the past 20 years or more, there has been a remarkable changes in the automobile industry. Car manufacturers and government are showing their full concern related to the safety features and the new and upcoming technologies around the world. The automobile designers are mixing the advanced safety features while designing and updating the features of the cars. Moreover, the major concentration of the new technologies is on reducing accidents, preventing injuries and give the driver the best seating arrangements.
What is Pre-collision technology?
Working of pre-collision technology:
Almost all the advanced pre-collision technology systems work on RADAR (Radio Detection And Ranging). As per Wikipedia, “Radar is an object-detection system that uses radio waves to determine the range, altitude, direction, or speed of objects. It can be used to detect aircraft, ships, spacecraft, guided missiles, motor vehicles, weather formations, and terrain. The radar dish (or antenna) transmits pulses of radio waves or microwaves that bounce off any object in their path. The object returns a tiny part of the wave's energy to a dish or antenna that is usually located at the same site as the transmitter.”
In a car or vehicle, the placement of the pre-collision system is done in such a way that it comprises of small radar detectors which systematically release high-frequency radar waves and are planted near the front of the car. Now, as these waves are produced, they hit the nearest object and bounce back to the sensors. And then follows the same process as explained above.
Also, in case of any accident threats or such kind of situations, it notices and warns the driver in no time. So, you are safe owing to all these advanced technologies. Enjoy these technologies at their best and save yours as well as others’ life.
